Once again, this post captures the essence of Christmas and warms a proud father's heart; I'll let my daughter continue ... as the post (originally) belongs to her (and her children).
Santa Claus,
On this very special day I want to wish you a happy and prosperous new year and that cheer would come to your home each day.
I am a girl that has been through very difficult times but thanks to God I have gotten through them. Now I want to ask you a big favour, if you could bring me a tent for 5 people for playing with my friends which would make me very happy. I am living with my mother, my little sister, my uncle who is the brother of my mother, he came to stay recently because he recently became unemployed, my grandmother welcomed him. Here we are in a low economic situation, my mother sick, my grandmother making money cleaning, cooking or washing. She has a bad back and is sick with osteoporosis and because of this I write to you for achieving a dream that I have given that they can't give me it. It might be that I have a father but it's like not having one because he doesn't give anything for eating and we don't receive any help from anyone. Well, without more to say I'll leave you, Hella ____ Address: _____
In the same envelope there was a letter from Hella's younger sister Naora...
Santa Claus,
Very Merry Xmas and I hope you enjoy it. I would like to ask you if you could bring me a doll because they can't buy it for me due to lack of money. I leave you with a kiss Naora ____. I am 8 years old and I live _____.

We were able to fulfill their wishes and Banjo delivered the gifts and some chocolates and lollies on behalf of Santa. Here he is with the girls' mother, giving her instructions to hide the presents ...
