The wind is 'picking up' and is expected to reach 18 knots!

This will have to do ... let's give it a go!

Seats fitted and adjusted ... time to launch!

Short Break

With only a few more days of our (two weeks) holidays remaining, we decided to take off for a few days and try our hand at Kayaking in 'unknown waters'!

After a couple of hours drive, it was time to stop and receive some nourishment before continuing our journey. After being 'soooo goood' on my new 'healthy' diet, I busted with a couple of favourites - 'steak and kidney pie' and an 'apple turnover '(with cream)!

On arrival, we noticed a sign on the motel complex 'saying': Beware of animals crossing! And so, not knowing what to expect around the tight bend directly in front of us; I slowed right down, only to discover ... a'native' family crossing right in front of us!

Finally, we arrived safe and sound, and we had managed to make some new (feathered) friends along the way!

Of course, then came all the the 'unpacking' before heading off to explore our new surroundings.
