On the Ferry - the kids first time!

Let the fun begin

Judah made his own fun!

Grace and friend enjoying another fun ride!

Somebody's had a BIG day!

Sydney Harbour

Luna Park - can you make out the 'smiling face' in the distance?

On the Ferry - the Opera House and Circular Quay in view.

The Castle and the Pelicans

Approaching the 'Castle' from the south. Note the myriad of Pelicans on sentry duty - look closely, they're everywhere.

No approach route is left unguarded ...

Every precaution is taken to ensure security is not breached!

For you Aussies ... note the Pelican's clever disguise!

Re-inforcements gather as an intruder is spotted ...

The 'Castle' approach from the north, note the sentries on point duty.

The flag is aloft ... all clear!

Valparaiso

A walk through the hills of Valparaiso brought some unexpected surprises ...

This majestic looking structure, immediately aroused my curiousity, it was literally 'tacked' onto the side of a very large (and steep) hillside! The approach is via a winding, narrow, cobble-stoned roadway!

Going down? Like the 'iceberg' there is so much more below ... than above!

And yet more levels ...

Would have liked to spend more time here but ... so much more to see!

Trip to Quintay

South of Vina del Mar is one the the prettiest coastal regions I've seen. The drive their produced some spectacular views; eclisped only by the rugged beauty of the ocean landscape on arrival at our destination.

We enjoyed the beautiful scenery and huge seafood meals at the local fishermnan's co-op. (Click on each photo, thern press F11, for an even more spectacular view).
