More Presents

Now that things have settled down (just a bit) I decided to post some pictures of some of the wonderful gifts Grandma and Grandad received.

My own Grandfather had a 'ship in a bottle' very similar to this and so this particular gift has a place close to my heart.

Below the ship sits a metal 'bicycle' which is built to house a favourite plant - in this case an African Violet.

Closeby, seated aloft the same carved wooden stand ... a majestic eagle - a present from a few years back.
