While our daughter and her children are celebrating the '12 days of Christmas' ... in Vina del Mar - Chile; we have been searching out 'all things Christmas' - another family tradition.

Opening presents
Meanwhile in Sydney, Australia: the search for a huge Christmas tree in the centre of Sydney. This search eventually involved a car trip to the ocean; a trip across the harbour on a ferry; a train ride to the centre of the city and finally, a good, long walk.
Along the way we discovered Santa's workshop:
And then finally we discovered the huge Christmas tree!!
Grandad was so impressed ... he just sat and stared
