Another Christmas Tradition

Each year in the final lead up to Christmas, our family would all squeeze into one car and go in search of 'christmas lights'!

A growing trend in Austalia, at least on the east coast, involves placing as many Christmas lights (including animated light structures etc) on, in or around the house. I'm quite sure the 'electricity companies' love this time of the year! But so too do all the children - of all ages!!

Of course, this farely new Christmas fad, originated in the US and so I suppose it follows that one of the 'grandest displays' (in Newcastle) was at a home called: 'Gracelands'! (I kid you not).

Well, the tradition still lives on, even though the children and grandchildren aren't able to participate directly with us, grandma and grandad have been searching for the 'best Christmas lights in Sydney'. Stay tuned to see how we fared.
